Magilligan Point View

by Elena T.

Magilligan viewpoint is the first Wild Atlantic way stop in Donegal.

If you are on your way to Kinnagoe bay or you are a Wild Atlantic Way hunter - you will be lucky to stop and enjoy this amazing viewpoint!

It is located up the hills between Greencastle and Movile with a stunning view of Binevenagh, Magilligan beach (in Northern Ireland), and Lough Foyle. On clear days you can see even Scotland.

Unfortunately, it is quite windy there and often misty, but bring your cup of hot drink and sit in the car enjoying the scenic view if you are not lucky enough to have quiet weather.
